About Nelson Auto Sales

Nelson Auto Sales is a local family owned business that is built on customer satisfaction. We carry a large selection of four wheel drive trucks and sport utility vehicles along with cars, vans and specialty vehicles. Nelson Auto Sales employs a dozen local people. Along with Used Car and Used Trucks Dealers sales we do repairs, detailing and license service. Nelson Auto Sales is located in Ridgeley WV and is convenient to customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Joe Nelson started the business in 1951 and built a reputation of selling quality vehicles at a fair price. The business was sold to Joes son Lynn in 1971. Lynn continued in Joes footsteps with upgrades to the dealership while building loyalty and goodwill among his customers. In 1988 Lynns daughter and son in law Barry and Susan Mason took over ownership and continued to provide the tri state area with quality vehicles and service. They added a better selection of trucks and SUVs and a new sales and Car Service Center in WV facility. Beth (Mason) and Matt Cosner are now the fourth generation of family to own Nelson Auto Sales. They will no doubt make changes to Nelson Auto Sales but our customers will always be number one.
